At Ocean's Edge we will have fitness advisors on hand to guide you through the types of exercise to choose from, each of which carries a different emphasis, be it stamina, suppleness or strength. Where possible try to balance your programme to include elements of each.
The human body was designed to move and the more you do so, the better it will perform!
It's important to exercise regularly, ideally 30 minutes or so of moderate exercise (ie: brisk walking) several times a week, but remember any exercise is better than none. You may find it helpful on the days you don't visit the Club, to break your 30 minutes of activity into 3x10 minute intervals throughout the day. In fact recent research suggests that this is a very effective way of boosting your metabolism.
Depending upon past experiences, health priorities and general disposition, different activities will suit different individuals. Your fitness advisor will help guide you through the many choices, the key being to choose activities you enjoy.
